Thick slices of sweet onion baked in a maple syrup and butter glaze until tender.

Directions

  1. Layer onions in a greased 13-inch x 9 inch x 2 in baking dish., Combine syrup and butter; pour over onions. Bake, uncovered at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until tender.
  1. Layer the sliced sweet onions in a greased 13-inch x 9-inch x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the maple syrup and melted butter; pour over the onions.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 425°F for 40-45 minutes or until tender.
