Baked Rice

A baked rice side dish of rice sauteed with onion, simmered with chicken broth and parsley, then finished in a covered casserole in the oven. Serves 6.

Directions

  1. Saute onion in butter til translucent. Add rice and stir till coated. Bring chicken stock to boil, add parsley and salt. Pour into 1 quart casserole, cover and bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes or liquid is gone. Serves 6

A seasoned baked rice cooked in chicken broth with finely chopped celery and onion, margarine, garlic powder, and a blend of black, red, and white pepper.

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in 2 quart baking dish, stir well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 1 hour or until liquid is all gone.
