Oven-Baked Rice

Baked Rice
Serves 6

A baked rice side dish of rice sauteed with onion, simmered with chicken broth and parsley, then finished in a covered casserole in the oven. Serves 6.
Directions
- Saute onion in butter til translucent. Add rice and stir till coated. Bring chicken stock to boil, add parsley and salt. Pour into 1 quart casserole, cover and bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes or liquid is gone. Serves 6

A seasoned baked rice cooked in chicken broth with finely chopped celery and onion, margarine, garlic powder, and a blend of black, red, and white pepper.
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in 2 quart baking dish, stir well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 1 hour or until liquid is all gone.
