Pretty Granola Treats
Makes 32 servings


Granola treats baked in miniature cups with oats, coconut and warm spices, then dipped in melted chocolate and topped with a nut. Makes 32 servings.
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients and set aside. In a small sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar and honey; cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, Pour over the oat mixture and mix well. Fill greased miniature cups with 1 tablespoonful of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes; run knife around edges before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Melt chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Dip bottoms of granola treats into chocolate. Place on waxed paper with chocolate side up; top each with a pecan half or walnut. Let stand until hardened.

- In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar and honey; cook and stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over the oat mixture and mix well.
- Fill greased miniature cups with 1 tablespoonful of the mixture each.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes; run a knife around the edges before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Melt the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Dip the bottoms of the granola treats into the chocolate.
- Place on waxed paper with the chocolate side up; top each with a pecan half or walnut.
- Let stand until hardened.
