Granola treats baked in miniature cups with oats, coconut and warm spices, then dipped in melted chocolate and topped with a nut. Makes 32 servings.

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients and set aside. In a small sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar and honey; cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, Pour over the oat mixture and mix well. Fill greased miniature cups with 1 tablespoonful of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes; run knife around edges before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Melt chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Dip bottoms of granola treats into chocolate. Place on waxed paper with chocolate side up; top each with a pecan half or walnut. Let stand until hardened.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar and honey; cook and stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour over the oat mixture and mix well.
  4. Fill greased miniature cups with 1 tablespoonful of the mixture each.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes; run a knife around the edges before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Melt the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Dip the bottoms of the granola treats into the chocolate.
  8. Place on waxed paper with the chocolate side up; top each with a pecan half or walnut.
  9. Let stand until hardened.
