Potatoes Anna

Potatoes Anna is a classic dish of thinly sliced potatoes dipped in butter, layered in a skillet, and baked until the cake can be turned out onto a platter.

Directions

  1. Dips each slice potato in butter and layer in circles in greased 9 inch iron skillet. Season each layer with spices. Cover ad bake 450 degrees 15 to 20 minutes. Loosen, invert onto platter
  1. Dip each potato slice in the melted butter and layer the slices in circles in a greased 9-inch iron skillet.
  2. Season each layer with the salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Cover and bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Loosen and invert onto a platter.
