Meatball Sandwiches

Meatballs baked in a sweet ketchup-and-brown-sugar sauce, then piled onto split rolls. They can also be served as toothpick appetizers.

Directions

  1. Place meatballs in an ungreased 1-qt baking dish. Combine the next five ingredients; pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve on rolls. Yield: 6 servings.
  2. These meatballs may be served as appetizers with toothpicks instead of rolls.
  1. Place the meatballs (frozen or thawed) in an ungreased 1-quart baking dish.
  2. Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, chopped onions, and garlic powder; pour over the meatballs.
  3. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  4. Serve on the split sandwich rolls. (Yield: 6 servings.)
  5. Alternatively, serve the meatballs as appetizers with toothpicks instead of rolls.
