Easy Cheesy Lemon Bars

Lemon bars built on a lemon cake-mix base with a cream cheese and lemon frosting filling stirred with chopped nuts, baked until firm and chilled before cutting.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven top 350 degrees. Grease and flour pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all base ingredients at low speed until crumbly, press in pan.
  3. In small bowl combine frosting, cream cheese and egg a low speed until well blended, beat at highest speed until smooth.
  4. Stir in nuts, spread over base.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 50 minutes or until firm.
  6. Chill 2 hours before serving. Cut into bars.
