A chocolate cream cheese pie set in a chocolate vanilla-wafer crumb crust, made rich with sweetened condensed milk and melted semi-sweet chocolate.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine crumbs, sugar, cocoa and margarine; press firmly on to bottom and up side to rim of 9-inch pie plate. In mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then melted chocolate chips. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Pour into prepared crust. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set. Cool thoroughly. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate.

  2. Combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners sugar, cocoa, and melted margarine. Press firmly onto the bottom and up the side to the rim of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. In a mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk, then the melted semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center is set.
  7. Cool thoroughly. Garnish as desired, then refrigerate.
