Salsa Green Beans

A skillet green bean side dish: crisp-tender green beans tossed with sauteed sweet onion, tomato wedges, garlic, and bottled salsa, then heated through.

Directions

  1. In a medium size saucepan over high heat, cover the green beans with water and bring to boil. Cook, uncovered, for about 8 to 10 minutes or until beans are crisp tender,
  2. In a large nonstick skillet, saute the chopped sweet onions in butter or margarine until they are translucent and tender.
  3. Drain the cooked beans.
  4. In the same saucepan, combine the tomato wedges, prepared salsa, minced garlic, salt and cooked onions with the drained beans,
  5. Heat through and serve.
