Hot Dogs/ Sweet Sour Cabbage

Name: Hot Dogs/ Sweet Sour Cabbage
Ingredients: 8 cups shredded cabbage; 1/4 cup margarine; 1/3 cup vinegar; 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed); 2 tsp caraway seed; 2 tsp celery salt; 1 tsp salt; 8 hot dogs; (1 cup cabbage for each dog)

Hot dogs steamed on top of a sweet-and-sour caraway cabbage cooked in a skillet, allowing about 1 cup of cabbage per hot dog.

Directions

In skillet: Cook cabbage in margarine until light brown. Mix remaining ingredients except hot dogs into cabbage. Place hot dogs on top, cover tightly, cook over low heat 8-10 minutes till done.

In a skillet, cook the shredded cabbage in the margarine until light brown.
Mix the remaining ingredients (vinegar, brown sugar, caraway seed, celery salt, and salt) into the cabbage, leaving out the hot dogs.
Place the hot dogs on top, cover tightly, and cook over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, until done.
