Honey-Orange Cornish Hens

Cornish game hens stuffed with a garlic clove and an orange section, then roasted with a honey-orange glaze.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Make laze by combining first 7 ingredients. set aside.
  3. If desired, season cavity of each bird with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a garlic clove and an orange section in each cavity.
  5. Set hens on a rack or in a roasting pan.
  6. Baste birds well with glaze and bake 15 minutes.
  7. Baste again and reduce heat to 350 degrees. Cook approximately 35 minutes longer, basting frequently. (Larger hens take slightly longer).

  6. Baste the birds well with the glaze and bake 15 minutes.
