Chocolate Pecan Pie

A pecan pie enriched with sweet baking chocolate and corn syrup, baked in an unbaked deep-dish pie shell.
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees,
- Melt chocolate and butter in pan for 1 or 2 minutes, stir until is completely melted and blended.
- Stir in sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped topping.
