Chili Pork Chops

Browned pork chops baked over a chili-style mixture of tomato soup, kidney beans, and quick-cooking rice, finished with green pepper rings.
Directions
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in large oven proof skllet; brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops and sprinkle with beef soup mix nd black pepper. Combine soup, beans, rice, onion, chili seasoning, and garlic powder granules in skillet or 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Place pork chops over soup mixture. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until chops are tender. Top each chop with a green pepper ring that has been brushed with oil he last 10 minutes of baking time. Serves 6.

- Combine the tomato soup, kidney beans, rice, onion, chili seasoning, and garlic powder in the skillet or an 11 x 7 inch baking dish.
- Place the pork chops over the soup mixture.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes, or until the chops are tender.
- During the last 10 minutes of baking, top each chop with a green pepper ring that has been brushed with oil. Serves 6.
