Cheesy Potato Meat Pie
Makes 6 servings
A ground beef pie pressed into a pie plate and baked, then frosted with a mashed potato, pimiento, and green pepper mixture and topped with shredded cheese.
Directions
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and evaporated milk just until blended. Press firmly into 9 inch pie plate. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Spoon off drippings. Combine mashed potatoes, pimiento, green pepper and 3/4 cup of the cheese. Frost meat pie with potato mixture;top with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake 10 additional minutes. Makes 6 servings.
