Bar-B-Q Pork Roast
Pork butt simmered until tender, then sliced and baked in a ketchup-based barbecue sauce; a variation shreds the meat for pulled pork or sandwiches.
Directions
- Cook pork in salted water over low heat for 2-2 1/2 hours. Drain and cool Save cup of broth. Cut pork in thin slices. Put in casserole dish. Combine all remaining ingredients, mix well, pour over pork, bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
- FOR PULLED PORK. Shred pork with 2 forks, make sauce sauce in pan with remaining ingredients, add shredded pork, let simmer till ready to eat or make sandwiches.

- Cut the pork into thin slices and put in a casserole dish.
- Combine all the remaining ingredients, mix well, and pour over the pork.

- For pulled pork: shred the pork with 2 forks, make the sauce in a pan with the remaining ingredients, add the shredded pork, and let simmer until ready to eat or to make sandwiches.
