A cracker-toffee cookie made by pouring a boiled butter-and-sugar syrup over saltine crackers, topping with walnuts, and baking briefly.

Directions

  1. Melt butter/margarine/sugar, bring to a boil. Boil slowly for 3 minutes to form syrup.
  2. Spray cookie sheet with pam, place saltines on sheets. Pour butter on crackers. Put nuts on. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. Cool then break apart and store.

  2. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam and place the saltines on the sheet. Pour the butter syrup over the crackers, then put the nuts on top.

  4. Cool, then break apart and store.
