Old-fashioned filled bar cookies with a ground-fig, sugar, butter, and lemon filling and a lard pastry crust.
Directions
- Figs must be ground before cooking. Cook in double boiler night before. Cook until thick.
- Grind the figs before cooking.
- The night before, cook the figs in a double boiler until thick.
