Berry Easy Dump Cake
An easy layered dump cake made by spreading fruit pie filling, crushed pineapple, dry cake mix, butter, coconut, and chopped nuts in a pan and baking until set. Served warm.
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 by 9 by 2 in baking pan with butter or margarine. Spread the contents of 1 (21 oz) can of apple, blueberry, cherry, or strawberry pie filling evenly across he bottom of the prepared pan. Cover with the contents of 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (undrained). Spread 1 box yellow cake, white or lemon cake mix (yep, just dry _ right out of the box). Dot the top of the cake mix with pieces of butter cut from one stick. Sprinkle the top with 3/4 to 1 cup coconut and 3/4 to 1 cup chopped nuts of choice. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
